Mark Okello

I'm AI researcher & Data Scientist with a strong solutions-engineering mindset. As of March 2025, I'm continuing full time at Duke University as a AI/ML researcher. I was previously one of the Founders of MedX, worked for Benshi AI as a data scientist and Technical Advisor for Oxford policy Management.

I have background in computer science and applied mathematics, and I get excited about Language Models, Machine Learning, Data Analysis, Experimentation, Adaptive Interventions, Neural Machine Translation and Reinforcement Learning. I also keep a wide variety of other interests as I strongly believe ideas from different disciplines often cross-over to others.
